Bona Vista receives three-year accreditation from international commission

 

The international accreditation group, Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) has announced that Bona Vista Programs has again been accredited for a period of three years for the following programs:

 

¨        Outpatient Medical Rehabilitation Programs for adults through Positive Results Therapies

¨        Outpatient Medical Rehabilitation Programs for children and adolescents through Positive Results for Kids

¨        Community Employment Services through WorkForce Diversity

  

¨        Organizational Employment Services through WorkForce Diversity

¨        Community Services: Community Integration through Community Connections

¨        Community Services: Child and Youth Services

¨        Community Services: Supported Living

 

The latest accreditation is the fifth consecutive Three-Year Accreditation that the international accrediting body has awarded to Bona Vista Programs.  This accreditation outcome represents the highest level of accreditation that can be awarded an organization and shows the organization’s substantial conformance to the standards established by CARF. An organization receiving a three year accreditation outcome has put itself through a rigorous pear review process and has demonstrated to a team of surveyors during an on-site visit that its programs and services are of the highest quality and both measurable as well as accountable.

 

Bona Vista Programs is a nonprofit organization with locations in Howard and Miami counties. It has been providing services in north central Indiana for 50 years. 

 

CARF is an independent, nonprofit accrediting body whose mission is to promote the quality, value, and optimal outcomes of services through a consultative accreditation process that centers on enhancing the lives of the persons served. Founded in 1966 as the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, and now known as CARF, the accrediting body establishes consumer-focused standards to help organizations measure and improve the quality of their programs and services.
