Gift-in-Kind Donation

  

   In-kind gifts are great for those who have items they do not want anymore or would like to purchase new items for those in need, such as vehicles, computer equipment or tools, items for therapies, items for adult living support, items for low income families, items for preschool, etc. Bona Vista will provide the donor with a letter of thanks that will include the donated item for tax purposes.

 

    The following is a list of just some of the items needed throughout the agency:

    Markers, Construction paper , Electric pencil sharpener, Paintbrushes (variety of sizes for painting crafts), Horseshoe game, World globe, Sign language books, Glue gun (for crafts), Clock with a second hand on it, Craft glue in a bottle for wood, fabric, etc., Wooden crafts unfinished (birdhouses, little cars or trains, door hangers), Bulletin board boarder (for different seasons), Variety of stencils (alphabet, numbers, shapes, and anything to use to make a craft), Plastic tubs (small or medium size to store crafts), Color gel pens for crafts, Sewing needles, crochet needles, and knitting needles, DVD player (can be used), Toothbrushes, any trial size or regular size items for personal hygiene (soap, shampoo, lotion, shaving cream, toothpaste, etc.), Electric skillet (can

 

be used if in good shape for cooking class), paper goods (including tissues, TP, paper towels, etc.), baby items (diapers, wipes, plastic coated baby spoons, etc.), a van in good working condition, a box truck in good working condition, new or used sporting equipment (playground balls, soccerballs, tennisballs, tennis rackets, golf clubs, basketballs, etc.), Heavy-Duty storage shelves, plastic storage totes (any size or color).
