Services
Bona Vista’s
group homes provide a clean and comfortable environment, and the support
and guidance to help those with special needs be as independent as
possible. Each home is limited to 6 to 8 residents and is staffed 24
hours a day. Residents share a spacious room with one other person and
many home amenities are provided. Every group home has transportation at
the residents’ disposal and group activities and community outings are
available.
Our Residential Services supports individuals of all ages; we recognize
that each is unique, with their own personality and capabilities.
Treating the individual with dignity and respect, our staff assists with
household chores, encouraging participation. So that our staff is
prepared for any situation that may arise, Bona Vista provides
continuous ongoing education including CPI training, CPR, first aid,
medication dispensing, one-on-one individualized training, and
specialized professional development workshops.
Individuals who receive services through Community Connections may also
qualify for case management services.
