Community Connections
Community Connections is a day program for adults with developmental disabilities. These individuals generally need intense supervision and are not currently at the level needed to work independently in the community. We currently serve 24 individuals in our Bona Vista at the Crossing location in Howard County, and 26 individuals in our Bona Vista Benton Street location in Miami County.
Activities are focused on personal goals and improving daily living skills. These include cooking, exercise, music appreciation, academics, pre-vocational skills, crafts, and much more.
Opportunities are also provided to participate in the community as a whole. This opens the door to socialization, responsibility, and volunteering. Staff works one-on-one with individuals to help them establish these vital connections.
Community Connections functions cooperatively with licensed therapists, nurses, social workers, behavior consultants, as well as other stakeholders to assist individuals in reaching their highest potential.

may be recommended by Vocational Rehabilitation Services, the school
system, or through a vocational evaluation. If you feel this program is
